Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort daycare offers a safe and secure place for your pets while you are away for the day.

Pet daycare has been in existence for more than a decade and has increased in popularity tremendously in the last several years. It is recommended by top veterinarians and animal behaviorists to curb behavior problems brought on by lack of exercise or by boredom. Pet daycare helps you in raising a confident, well-adjusted pet who reacts well with other animals and people.

Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort offers pet daycare Monday through Friday, Although no formal training takes place during the day, staff members offer encouragement and guidance to help each pet with their behavior. For example, puppies undergoing potty training benefit greatly from being in daycare where our staff can assist in their daily training; the overweight dog's metabolism is enhanced by getting him into better condition; and the crated dog is offered an interesting, interactive day.

All daycare pets must have proof of updated vaccinations and be spayed or neutered. Pets will be carefully evaluated and placed in a daycare group based on personality and size. Pets will be slowly introduced to their new group of friends, and care will be taken to be sure the owners are comfortable with their pets new peer group. Each group is supervised by a knowledgeable staff member of Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort. We recognize the importance of being experienced in canine behavior, knowing how to be pro-active to prevent a disagreement before it happens, and to keep playtime light-hearted and fun.

A typical daycare day will involve outside morning play with running, ball and frisbee chasing. We will break for a light lunch snack and indoor rest. Then go back outside for a relaxing walk, game of tag, maybe a swim in the pond, and afternoon snack before going home. We will tailor the day's activities to the needs of the individual dogs participating. On Wescott Acres' eight acres of woodlands, pastureland and shady pond, there is lots of space for your pet's exploration and relaxation no matter what he or she is doing.

Daycare is offered Monday - Saturday, 7AM-6PM. Our programs are specialized and structured for each individual pet's needs. (See more details under "Daycare").

DOGS: $15.00 per day for 1 - 2 days a week; $12.00 per day for 3 - 4 days a week; $10.00 per day for 5 - 6 days a week

CATS and EXOTIC PETS:$8.00 per day for 1 - 2 days a week; $6.00 per day for 3 - 4 days a week; $4.00 per day for 5 - 6 days a week
